This page explains what Deliberate Gifts saves to run your account, reminders, and personalized gift-planning workspace.
Information saved with your account
Account
Your email address, display name, time zone, reminder preferences, and account creation date.
Recipients
Names, relationships, preferences, budgets, notes, and the gift moments and reminder timings you add.
Gift planning
Favorites, recipient gift ideas, statuses, notes, and links to the catalog products involved.
Gift Finder
Saved answers, linked recipient, recommended product identifiers, and search timestamps.
Authentication is handled by the configured sign-in provider. Deliberate Gifts receives the account details needed to sign you in and connect saved information to your account; it does not receive your provider password.
Private calendar feed
The calendar subscription link contains a private random token. Calendar events can include recipient names, relationships, dates, and links back to your account. Anyone who has the subscription link may be able to read that calendar data, so treat it like a password. You can reset the link in account settings to stop the old link from receiving updates.
Your controls
Signed-in users can download a JSON copy of their saved account data, change account and reminder preferences, reset the calendar link, or permanently delete their account and saved planning data.
Open account settingsOperating and protecting the service
Basic technical and analytics data may be processed to operate the site, protect it from misuse, diagnose errors, and understand how catalog and planning features are used.
Importer logs and product metadata help keep the catalog current, detect failed imports, and avoid duplicate products. Service credentials are read from protected environment configuration and are not displayed in the app.
Retailer and partner websites
Product links may send you to third-party retailers or advertising partners. Those sites have their own privacy practices, cookie policies, and purchase terms. Deliberate Gifts does not control their checkout or account systems.
